Natural Rites

Phosphate Records is proud to welcome "Natural Rites", a single release from french artist ARKANGE. Born in Marseille, ARKANGE spent ten years abroad across Latin America and the Middle East, lands where rhythm is a language of its own. Rooted in drums since childhood and shaped by the rawness of local scenes, he built a tribal, instinctive relationship with sound. Natural Rites takes shape in the heart of Montréal. Producing at night under relentless pressure, he finds that the most alive things are born in the cold. That same winter, he connects with Ponsif and the Phosphate Records team, absorbing the label's DNA : organic, raw, groove running through its roots. Natural Rites is an ode to the untamed, a primitive and liberating call, built to be felt in the body before it reaches the mind.
