SoundCloud has confirmed and fixed the root cause on their end. We've verified real SoundCloud actions are working normally again across multiple accounts and gates, and have rolled the platform back to standard verification. Downloads and SoundCloud gates are fully operational.

Downloads are unlocking again. We've deployed a workaround on our end: gates now confirm your SoundCloud actions by checking your account directly on SoundCloud's site, instead of relying on the write action that SoundCloud is still rejecting. This restores working gates across the platform without waiting on SoundCloud to fix their side first. To be clear: the underlying problem is still unresolved on SoundCloud's infrastructure, and we're continuing to push them for an actual fix. We're also actively revising this new system as we learn more from real usage, so expect further updates soon.

We've escalated this directly to SoundCloud's API team — filed a public issue with our full evidence trail, and reached out via X and to a named SoundCloud API lead. Awaiting a response. No timeline yet for a fix, since this is entirely on SoundCloud's infrastructure.

SoundCloud began rejecting every like, repost, comment, and follow action performed through our platform, for every gate, with the error "An active Pro Unlimited subscription is required for this action." We've confirmed this is not caused by anything on our end — verified OAuth implementation, checked account status, and ruled out several other explanations. Gate downloads themselves are unaffected; the SoundCloud verification step specifically will not complete until SoundCloud resolves this.
